About Anjali Bidani

Anjali Bidani’s first 500 Clown experience was 500 Clown Macbeth on the lower east side of New York City in the fall of 2001.  At the time, she was stage managing the off-Broadway production of Metamorphoses, after stage managing it for Lookingglass, Berkeley Rep, Seattle Rep, and the Mark Taper Forum.  She met Adrian Danzig in that earlier life of Metamorphoses when he joined the Lookingglass production for a spell, and then toured the show to Berkeley Rep.
After a 10 year career as a freelance stage manager working with artists like Anna Deavere Smith, Mary Zimmerman, Moises Kaufman, Regina Taylor, Hal Prince, and Stephen Sondheim, she ran into Adrian during her final stage management job at Wicked, and decided to join the board in 2007.  She now works in finance, but keeps things interesting with her 500 Clown involvement.
