About Isaac Schoepp
Isaac is a multitalented theatre problem solvent from Chicago. He splits his time among acting, directing, rigging, and carpentry, but always learning and imagining. He has worked with 500 Clown as Set Operator and Road Technical Director for 500 Clown: Trapped. He is a regular carpenter and rigger for theatre companies around Chicago, as well as a frequent student of teachers like Adrian Danzig, Paola Coletto, and Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi. Most recently he was the Assistant Rigger and an understudy for The Little Prince at Lookingglass, and Master Carpenter for The Magical Exploding Boy and Invisible Circus at The Actors Gymnasium. Each fall he is the Director of the Freshman Drama Workshop at his alma mater Valparaiso University, where he coordinates 80-90 freshman in creating an original play with music. His most enjoyable pastime is coming up with creative, cross-disciplinary solutions to theatrical challenges.
