About John Musial
John Musial is a theatermaker who writes, directs, designs and makes stuff. He is deeply interested in the ways that stories arise from, and interact with the built environment. Projects he has created include two Winter Pageants and several other site specific spectacles for Redmoon Theater, The Great Fire, Nelson Algren For Keeps and Single Day and Grailquest for Lookingglass Theater Company, (with whom he is an ensemble member) and the production of Wax & Wayne for Local Infinities which toured Holland and won “The Fringiest” award at the NYC Fringe Festival. He re-directed Algren for television in collaboration with Channel 11 WTTW and was nominated for a regional Emmy. John holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from UIC and works with Mark Miller Architects.
